As a Warehouse & Yard Manager you will lead, coordinate, or oversees warehouse & logistics operations

In this role , you will be responsible for :

Leads, coordinates, or oversees warehouse & logistics operations. Activities include productivity and process quality of warehouse operations, reducing controllable expenses, VCP, & contract labor spend, and covering EHS, logistics and shipping processes (including purchasing, receiving, and shipping). Manage warehouse to ensure customer requirements are met (including providing scope to contract labor workforce in warehouse). Manage and coordinate communication between the project managers, global supply chain and the logistics teams or vendors as needed. Oversees strategic planning of the logistics for each project to ensure successful delivery. Drives cost reduction wherever applicable while meeting customer and safety requirements.

Works together with high level people from the business and SPB and EB level. Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done. 

Handles standardized project processes. Guidelines for choosing the right actions. Processes and procedures are frequently updated by other functions and have to be implemented in the department.

Handles diverse clients in a region. Works on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks. Some latitude to deviate from those conditions.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will

Demonstrated front-line supervisor, 8 years of experience managing and supervising personnel

Minimum of 8 years of experience Warehouse management / Distribution / Operations / Asset and/or Inventory management

Bachelor degree or an additional 8 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree

Knowledge and experience with the usage of barcoding, radio frequency identification (RFID) or QR codes

Problem-Solving, analytical, communication, leadership, coaching or mentoring skills

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, SAP and Excel

Travel as required
