How to teach programming to your kid

 

In this digital era, many parents want ther children to become a good programmer. Because the digital infrastructure and user interface were built by the programmer.

For the younger children, the line of code looks too complicated for them. But there is a solution for this. Children can build apps using block. They can easily drag and drop the block.

There is a platform named thunkable.com/. My son tried this platform guided by an online tutor, they together made a online translator tool (English to Indonesian).

There is no single line of code involved. Only drag and drop, and drop down menus.

This is a good start for your kid, since it will train their logical of thinking, and computational thinking.
